Gmail Trash

Trash old emails in Gmail, not a private bin

When you confirm Trash in InboxMint, mail goes to Gmail Trash — the same place Gmail already uses. You can open Trash in Gmail and restore a thread if you made a mistake. InboxMint does not keep a second secret folder of deleted mail.

That also means InboxMint will not permanently wipe Gmail for you. Emptying Trash, or waiting out Google’s ~30-day window, is still a Gmail action. VIP, starred, and important mail is protected before anything is trashed.
